Avengers: Doomsday – New Look at Hot Toys’ Doctor Doom Figure

Hot Toys has released new images of its 1/6th scale Victor Von Doom figure from Avengers: Doomsday, offering a detailed look at Robert Downey Jr.’s character in the film.

In the new promotional photos, the manufacturer itself presents the piece as the “Victor Von Doom 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure.” The collectible is also identified as a Hot Toys Exclusive.

The look is quite different from the one featured on the company’s first Doctor Doom figure announced in July. This time, Victor appears in an outfit made primarily of dark fabric, accompanied by a hooded cape, metallic mask, belt, and chains draped over his shoulders.

Hot Toys had previously shared a teaser for this new figure on September 8. At the time, the company noted that the piece would be based on Doctor Doom’s second costume in Avengers: Doomsday. That same costume also made a brief appearance in the mid-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Now, the new images finally showcase the collectible in full. The suit features fewer armor pieces than Doctor Doom’s primary look, leaving the mask as the main metallic element of the design.

This marks the second Doctor Doom figure based specifically on Avengers: Doomsday. The first was officially unveiled by Hot Toys during San Diego Comic-Con in July and is already available for pre-order through Sideshow.
