Speaking on stage, Evans addressed his trust in Feige, making it clear he doesn’t view the producer as just another Hollywood executive.

For Evans, Feige’s defining trait is that he maintains a genuine personal connection to Marvel’s characters and the audience watching the films.

“Kevin Feige is the furthest thing from a suit. He cares about these things the same way all of you do. And that’s why these things have worked.”

“He cares about these characters. He cares about you guys. And that’s comforting. You can’t fake that.”

Evans and Feige will work together again on Avengers: Doomsday. Marvel Studios has officially confirmed Evans as part of the cast, while the studio’s own promotional materials have announced that Steve Rogers will return.

The film also reunites Evans with Anthony and Joe Russo, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
