VisionQuest: New Image Shows Vision Holding Paladin by the Collar

VisionQuest has a new image featuring Paul Bettany as Vision and Todd Stashwick as Paladin, pitting the two characters against each other ahead of the series’ October 14 premiere on Disney+.

The new Marvel Television series will be the next chapter in the character’s story after WandaVision.

In the image, Vision — in his white form — holds Paladin by the collar and off the ground. Stashwick is dressed in dark clothing, and the scene takes place inside a building.

The photo comes as part of a new promotional push for VisionQuest. The latest issue of SFX Magazine featured new images from the series along with interviews with members of the production. The past few days have also brought new looks at Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff and Lauren Morais as Lisa Molinari.

Todd Stashwick will play Paladin, a mercenary and bounty hunter who will be after Vision throughout the series. Terry Matalas has described the character as a kind of Marvel Universe version of Boba Fett — a description that tracks with the new image, showing Paladin going toe-to-toe with Vision.

The official synopsis confirms that Vision will be in hiding after escaping those who intended to turn him into a weapon. A bounty is placed on his head, forcing him to go on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious young man who may be the reincarnation of his son.

Along with Bettany and Stashwick, VisionQuest will also bring back James Spader as Ultron. Ruaridh Mollica plays Tommy Maximoff, while James D’Arcy returns as J.A.R.V.I.S. and Orla Brady plays F.R.I.D.A.Y.

VisionQuest premieres exclusively on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.
